Raymond J. Lucia Companies Uses Salesforce.com’s AppExchange to Support and Expand Financial Advisory Business

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif (April 26, 2006) – Salesforce.com [NYSE: CRM], the technology and market leader in on-demand customer relationship management (CRM), today announced that Raymond J. Lucia (RJL) Companies, one of the fastest growing independent financial advisory firms in the country, is using the AppExchange platform to customize its Salesforce SFA and Salesforce Service & Support applications to support and grow its national operations. RJL has also deployed VerticalResponse for AppExchange from the AppExchange directory to manage its seminar registrations, giving the company a single, centralized tool for all marketing, sales, service and support operations. Using the customized and integrated Salesforce solution, RJL has seen a nearly quadruple increase in per-advisor revenue.

RJL is one of the 20,500 companies of all sizes, industries and geographies that comprised the salesforce.com customer base as of January 31, 2006. Revenue and subscribers will be recognized as the service is delivered.

As one of the early adopters of Salesforce, RJL began its successful CRM implementation with two licenses of Salesforce SFA in early 2000. The company grew its business along with its adoption of Salesforce, increasing its number of enterprise licenses and adding Salesforce Service & Support. Using the AppExchange platform, RJL is integrating its financial data aggregation application with Salesforce, enabling financial advisors have a single source for all critical business and customer data.

* Split Codes — custom application automatically calculates, tracks and manages split commissions
* Client Accounts — custom application captures client and account making all necessary business and customer data available in a single source

RJL has also deployed VerticalResponse for AppExchange from the AppExchange directory, which enables the company to provide Web registration and automated email response for its seminar registrants. VerticalResponse gives them the ability to control the creative layout, testing, launch, and synchronization of response metrics back to Salesforce at the click of a button.
